The Honor 600 series made its global debut in Malaysia today (April 22) with two new smartphone models.
The Honor 600 Pro comes with a 6.57in AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate and 0.98mm bezels.
Honor Malaysia head of channel sales Teh Pei Ling claimed in a presentation that it's the "narrowest black bezel" in the market, adding that in comparison, the local 5sen coin is 1.12mm thick.

The model features a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with three rear cameras, starting with a 200-megapixel Ultra-clear AI Main camera, 50-megapixel Periscope Telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 12-megapixel 112° Ultra Wide camera. The front camera is a 50-megapixel Selfie Camera.
In terms of camera action, the company introduced an all-new Night Mode with AI-enhanced features to boost details for images taken under low-light settings.
It also features a dedicated AI button with the AI Image-to-Video 2.0 tool, allowing users to combine up to three images including drawings and generate a short video clip from a text prompt.
The company said such AI features could be meaningful in helping users like autistic children express themselves, as they may also include elements such as music.
Harald Neerland, president of Autism-Europe, said it can be “moving” to see static drawings brought to life through AI, particularly as some autistic individuals may experience difficulties with verbal communication.
"Technology is at its best when it helps to share the light within us," Neerland added in his presentation at the event.
Autism Europe is an umbrella organisation that represents and advocates for autistic people and their families across Europe.
The Honor 600 sports a similiar design with 6.57in display and thin bezel. It runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with two rear cameras: 200-megapixel Ultra-clear AI Main camera and 12-megapixel 112° Ultra Wide camera plus a 50-megapixel Portrait selfie camera on the front display.
Both models also come with 12GB RAM, 7,000mAH battery capacity with 80W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, which the company said comes with a power sharing compatibility with some iPhone models.

The Honor 600 series smartphone models comes in three colours namely Orange, Golden White and Black.
The Honor 600 Pro model is priced at RM3,099 (256GB space) and RM3,299 (512GB) while the Honor 600 is priced at RM2,599 (512GB).
Pre-orders start today until April 29 with a limited time gift bundle worth up to RM1,915. More information available at the official website.
