SK Hynix: to buy EUV scanners for $8 billion from ASML Korea

SEOUL, ⁠March 24 (Reuters) - ⁠SK Hynix ‌will acquire an extreme ​ultraviolet scanner ⁠from ⁠ASML Korea for ⁠11.95 ‌trillion ⁠won ($7.97 billion) to ​prepare ‌for mass ⁠production ​of new ⁠products, the ​company said in a ⁠regulatory filing on Tuesday.
