TESERO: Ukrainian Para-biathlete Maksym Murashkovskyi has said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) helped him win a medal at the Milan/Cortina Paralympics.

Murashkovskyi took silver in the individual race over 12.5 kilometres for visually impaired athletes, and then said that AI supported him beyond tactical aspects.

"It was about half of my training plan. Motivation and many more things. So it made up a large part of my overall training," Murashkovskyi said.

"I used it as a psychologist, coach and sometimes even as a doctor."

Murashkovskyi added that for now AI won't be able to fully replace humans but that it would "certainly play a role in the future."
