Oppo has launched its latest budget-oriented smartphone, the A5i, a device equipped with a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen1 processor, and a 6.67in display with a 720p resolution with up to a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the back of the device is an 8-megapixel main shooter, while the front features a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with 128GB internal storage, with the choice between 4GB or 6GB RAM.
Powering the device is a 5,100mAh battery, which is equipped with 45W SuperVooc fast charging. Oppo claims that the device will retain at least 80% of its battery capacity even after four years, based on the company's testing.
The A5i also has an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and up to a 300% boost in call volume for improved voice clarity in noisy environments.
The A5i comes in two colour options: Nebula Red and Starry Purple, while being priced at RM399 for the 4GB RAM model, and RM499 for the 6GB RAM option.
