PETALING JAYA: Touch ‘n Go has issued a notice via its Facebook page, reminding customers to be wary of fraudulent calls and agents claiming to be employed by the company.

The company stressed that it has never appointed any such individuals to collect personal information or identification documents from its customers.

Customers should note that Touch ‘n Go will only contact them through its official line at 03-2714 8888, not via personal phone numbers often used by scammers.

"If you get a call from any other number claiming to be from Touch ‘n Go, please hang up immediately and do not share any personal details," the company wrote in the notice.

The company further said that for any inquiries or to report suspicious activity, customers can visit its official customer channel.

Touch ‘n Go previously issued a similar notice in 2023, warning customers of a fake ‘card upgrade’ scam by fraudsters impersonating its employees.
