Google has launched the Pixel 9a, the company's latest budget-centric Pixel device equipped with a dual camera setup, including a 48-megapixel wide main shooter and 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, along with a 12-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

The Pixel 9a features a 6.3in OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Google Tensor G4 processor and 5,100mAh battery with 23W fast charging and 7.5W wireless Qi charging.

It's also no slouch when it comes to image editing, with Google AI being able to evaluate multiple shots of something like a group photo and combine the best parts of each one to get the best result with the Best Take feature.

Other editing tools include Photo Unblur to fix blurry shots, and Magic Editor to reframe images, suggest the best crop, and even expand scenes when prompted.

The Google Pixel 9a comes in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony colour options and is priced at RM2,699, with availability in Malaysia starting from sometime in April on the Google Store and authorised retailers. Also included with new purchases of the Pixel 9a are three months of Google One and six months of Fitbit Premium.
