Apple slashes M3 MacBook Air prices in Malaysia, now starting at RM4,999

Apple has lowered prices across the board for its lineup of M3-powered MacBook Air laptops on its Malaysian website.

Prices are between RM100 to RM200 lower, with slight adjustments to RAM configurations, primarily bumping up the included RAM from 8GB to 16GB and from 16GB to 24GB based on an archived webpage on Archive.org.

For those interested, these are the current prices and configuration changes:

13in M3 MacBook Air:

  • RM4,999 (previously RM5,199) for the 16GB (previously 8GB) RAM and 256GB storage model
  • RM5,849 (previously RM5,999) for the 16GB (previously 8GB) RAM and 512GB storage model
  • RM6,699 (previously RM6,799) for the 24GB (previously 16GB) RAM and 512GB storage model

15in M3 MacBook Air:

  • RM5,999 (previously RM6,199) for the 16GB (previously 8GB) RAM and 256GB storage model
  • RM6,849 (previously RM6,999) for the 16GB (previously 8GB) RAM and 512GB storage model
  • RM7,699 (previously RM7,799) for the 24GB (previously 16GB) RAM and 512GB storage model

Also receiving updated pricing is the M2 MacBook Air, now priced at RM4,499 and available in a single configuration: 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Before this, it was only available with 8GB RAM and a choice between 256GB (priced at RM4,799) or 512GB (RM5,599) storage.
