Netflix subscribers will now have to pay more for their monthly subscription, as the streaming service has increased the prices on all its plans for customers in Malaysia.

The price bump sees the cheapest Mobile subscription plan, which offers 480p streaming quality over a tablet or smartphone, now priced at RM18.90 a month (previously RM17).

Similar price hikes can be seen with the 720p Basic plan (now RM29.90 from RM28), 1080p Standard plan (now RM49.90 from RM45), and the 4K Premium plan (now RM62.90 from RM55).

Interestingly enough, Astro says customers with Netflix bundled in their TV plan will not experience any pricing adjustments until March 1 next year.

However, it is worth noting that those paying for a Netflix add-on via Astro will see the new pricing reflected in their next billing cycle on or after Nov 21.
