Samsung looking into providing security updates to its devices beyond five years

According to a report from Samsung-centric news site SamMobile, Samsung is considering the possibility of offering more than five years of support for security updates on its devices.

Currently, the South Korean tech giant provides security updates for a minimum of four years following the device’s global launch, with select newer models being supported for up to five years.
