SINGAPORE: A former assistant operations manager was sentenced to nine years’ jail on July 12 for working with an accomplice to misappropriate more than 25,000 defective iPhones.

Lim Jen Hee’s offences caused a loss of more than US$5mil (RM23.24mil) to his then employer Pegatron Service Singapore, which was contractually obliged to compensate Apple.
