PETALING JAYA: Touch 'n Go (TNG) ewallet is facing a service outage, with some users receiving a message saying, "Sorry, but heavy traffic is causing delays in processing your request. Don’t fret, we’re fixing this. Hold tight and try again later."

Reports on the outage surfaced this morning on Twitter, with some users posting that they have been logged out of their accounts and are unable to log back in.

In our tests, we were able to log in, but the app appeared to be running slower than usual.

Attempts at reloading the ewallet balance were met with a constant loading screen.

According to Touch 'n Go, the outage does not affect toll and PayDirect parking payments.

In a Facebook post, it said the RFID payment lanes at the Sprint Expressway have been temporarily closed due to technical issues.
