(Reuters) - Meta Platforms Inc's head of virtual reality social platform Horizon, Vivek Sharma, is leaving the company, he told Reuters on Friday.

A spokesman for Facebook-owner Meta confirmed his departure and said Sharma's team would report directly to Vishal Shah, vice president of Metaverse.
