'Mario Party Superstars': A family-friendly nostalgia trip

Whether it's everyone against everyone, or all together in a team, Mario Party Superstars comes with several small games for quick fun. — Nintendo/dpa

"Mario Party" is going back to its roots in its latest edition. The series was first released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 and "Mario Party Superstars" aims to tap into some of that nostalgia.

In terms of gameplay, the latest edition relies on familiar strengths: a bunch of little games where you have to collect as many stars as possible.
