An unidentified man working for an online grocery delivery and pick-up service was caught on a home security camera exposing himself, according to San Antonio police.

A couple living on the North Side reported the Instacart employee, who was delivering groceries, to police after seeing the footage on their Ring doorbell camera at around 10.30pm on Oct 3.

Police said the man was gone by the time the couple went outside to grab their groceries.

Police are investigating the incident as “indecent exposure” and said the man was reckless about whether anyone was present and could have seen him. No arrests have been made.

The 30-year-old man who lives at the home said he and his wife “were pretty unsettled, angry, disgusted and scared”. The man asked not to use his name for fear of retaliation from the delivery worker.

“We didn’t feel it was safe to use or consume the groceries he dropped off,” he said.

Instacart told the Express-News that it has removed the employee from its platform and refunded the couple for their order. The online delivery service also said it was working with SAPD.

H-E-B also replaced the groceries, the couple said. – San Antonio Express-News/Tribune News Service
