Digi is offering subscribers a huge amount of high speed data, 100GB for RM7, but it’s only available for a few hours before dawn.

Called the Sahur Data Pass, it offers the stated amount of data for one week, which can be used between 3am and 7am.

Done in conjunction with Ramadan, the package’s name and availability ties into Sahur, the predawn meal before fasting.

On its website, Digi said the package was to enable people to tune in to sermons or cooking tutorials, or just stay in touch during the fasting month, when Muslims are usually up early for Sahur.

According to the FAQ, the data pass is available for Digi prepaid, postpaid and mobile broadband subscribers.

The telco states there is no speed limit imposed on the plan, though users would need to top up if they manage to burn through the 100GB quota within the week.

The offer is available from April 13 until May 12.
