The National Covid-19 Immunisation Plan now has its own website, so the public can better understand how the vaccine will be distributed.

The website by the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV) contains a guidebook on the programme, as well as the latest relevant news and videos.

These include video messages by Malaysian personalities like former national bowler Shalin Zulkifli and national swimmer Welson Sim, advocating for the vaccine.

The website’s About page explains the structure and function of the JKJAV – jointly chaired by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation – which aims to deliver the vaccine to Malaysians in a quick, safe and effective manner.

Their respective ministers, Datuk Sri Dr Adham Baba and Khairy Jamaluddin, said in a joint statement that the guidebook outlines the government’s strategic planning in ensuring the smooth implementation of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Plan in its fight to curb and possibly end the pandemic in the country.

For now, the website is only available in Bahasa Malaysia.

The website also has links to JKJAV’s other social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
