Budget 2021: RM27mil allocation for CyberSecurity Malaysia hailed by industry players

PETALING JAYA: CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) said its RM27mil allocation in Budget 2021 to strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity shows the government’s commitment to combat cybercrime.

“The allocation is a recognition for CSM and it clearly shows that the government is committed in addressing and preventing cybercrime threats, and ensuring the existence of a safe and conducive cybersecurity infrastructure in Malaysia,” its CEO Datuk Dr Amirudin Abdul Wahab said in a statement.
