MCMC to contact handphone users via WhatsApp or SMS for four surveys

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) announced that it will be conducting four surveys via WhatsApp and SMS – the Hand Phone Users Survey, E-commerce Consumers Survey, Consumer Satisfaction Survey (Broadband Service), and Consumer Satisfaction Survey (Mobile-Cellular Service).

It said two phone numbers – 017-728 6262 and 017-364 6262 – will be used for the surveys, and advised the public not to entertain survey notifications from any other numbers.
