WhatsApp doubles participant limit in video and audio calls to eight people. — WhatsApp

You can now organise group calls of up to eight people simultaneously over WhatsApp.

In a blog post, the messaging service said it was doubling the number of participants in a WhatsApp video or voice call from four to eight people.
