Study dismisses evidence that videogames incite violent behaviour

The authors of an American study, which looked at data from more than 10,000 adolescents from over ten years, have come to the conclusion that there is no real evidence to suggest that playing videogames encourages violence in real life.

Do videogames make people violent? The answer to this question, which has often been raised, is said to be linked to other perceived evils of gaming, namely social isolation and high levels of addiction.
