Pokémon Go celebrations feature more regional specials, Deoxys and themed raid battles

Pokémon Go players can now walk to find typically regional exclusive Pokémon – by hatching them from eggs – instead of flying to other countries. — Niantic

While Pokémon Go players would usually have to travel to other countries to catch rare regional monsters, this week players can catch them outside of their usual regions by just walking.

In a tweet on its official account, Pokémon Go stated this week’s bonuses will include Regional Pokémon hatching from 7km eggs with a higher chance they will be shiny, the appearance of former EX-raid boss, Deoxys, appearing in normal raids as well as Pokémon effective against Deoxys also appearing in raid battles.
