On Aug 19, Reddit announced that it will be launching a live broadcasting feature for five days to test the waters regarding streaming on its platform.

As of Aug 19, Redditors will gradually be gaining access to a new live streaming feature – only until Aug 23. RPAN, the Reddit Public Access Network, is a new Reddit "experience" which will give users around the world the ability to create live broadcasts.
