‘Pokémon Go’ updates battles with new attacks and mechanics

Augmented reality monster catching game Pokémon Go is introducing a slew of updates to its battle system with new attacks and some changes to battle mechanics.

"In a continued effort to make Trainer Battles a fun and competitive experience, switching Pokémon will now briefly pause the battle," says game maker Niantic, on its blog.
