Use Touch ‘n Go eWallet to pay for App Store and iTunes purchases

There is now a new payment option for purchases on iTunes and App Store.

Touch ‘n Go eWallet users can now choose the e-wallet as their preferred payment method on their iPhones and iPads.

This is an additional payment method on top of the usual credit and debit cards, as well as phone billings.

The announcement on the website states that the eWallet can now be used to pay for apps, music, movies and even iCloud storage on iTunes and the App Store. The FAQ states that there are no additional fees charged when using this payment option.

Currently, only those who set Malaysia as their country of residence on their Apple ID will be able to use this feature.

Linking the accounts is pretty simple. Go to the Payment Method on one of the services and choose Touch ‘n Go eWallet as the preferred paying method.

Once selected, a verification code will be sent to your device via SMS, which you would then need to input into the device.

After it is verified, it is ready for use. Now your Touch ‘n Go eWallet will be credited every time a purchase is made on the linked Apple devices.
