Maxis has updated its MaxisOne Prime package, which bundles mobile and home fibre broadband for families looking to have unlimited data at more affordable prices.
The lowest priced package customers can get is the MaxisOne Plan 98 (RM98) with 30 Mbps home fibre without unlimited calls (RM89) per month. Previously, the bundled package required customers to subscribe to the most expensive mobile line, the MaxisOne Plan 188 (RM188).
After choosing a home fibre and mobile line, customers can also add supplementary mobile numbers called Share Lines for RM48 per line.
The catch is the MaxisOne Plan 98 can only have one supplementary line, with each progressively more expensive mobile line allowed to have one more supplementary line, with a maximum of four for the MaxisOne Plan 188.
The benefit of going with this bundled package is unlimited data for all the lines, and for certain home fibre packages also unlimited call time.
While travelling abroad, the family can also activate the MaxisOne World pass for RM38 a day to get unlimited data, calls and SMS to any Asean country.
When signing up, users can also opt for a Zerolution360 add-on to get a flagship smartphone with total device protection and yearly phone upgrades.
If not in the market for a smartphone, customers have the option of adding on other devices, such as a Samsung Smart TV or a PlayStation 4 Pro for an additional monthly fee, with a free 12-month dimsum subscription thrown in.
In the terms and conditions, Maxis warns existing customers switching their current rate plan that they will not be able to carry forward any promotions or benefits given under any existing rate plans.
Customers can sign up for MaxisOne Prime at any Maxis Centre or online. For more info, go to www.maxis.com.my/prime.
