WhatsApp to add QR codes for contact sharing

WhatsApp will soon make it easier to share your contact details by introducing a QR code system that shares all the info with just a scan.

According to WABetaInfo, the system is part of a new Add Contact feature, and generates a QR code like Instagram's Nametag feature.
