HBO to release ‘Game Of Thrones’ videogame in October

Rule the Seven Kingdoms as Jon Snow, and show Cersei how it's done.

Do you have what it takes to sit on the Iron Throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros? You can find out with Reigns: Game Of Thrones, a new videogame by award-winning game developer Nerial and game publisher DevolverDigital.

The game is based on the hugely popular HBO TV series Game Of Thrones, and follows the winning formula of the previous Reigns games where players have to swipe left or right to advance a narrative.

Here, players have to get through George R.R. Martin’s masterpiece, by ruling the Iron Throne as any of the nine featured Game Of Thrones characters, including Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen or Sansa Stark and more.

Players can explore the various possibilities their decisions bring, even the weirdest outcome such as Daenerys marrying Jaime Lannister. Eww ...

Each swipe left or right will either enable the players to move forward in the game or end their rule as the king or queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Don’t get too attached to any of the characters. They all die eventually, remember? 

Reigns: Game Of Thrones will be released in October for US$3.99 (RM16.40) on iOS, Android and PC via Steam.
