British digital shopping app WhereWolf is expanding its reach with the debut of its first-ever pop-up shop in Covent Garden, London, this week.
The app – designed to make in-store inventories searchable for shoppers to check size and store availability in real time – will solidify its physical presence via a 1,700sq ft (157.94sq m) store, which is open from Aug 3 until Aug 15.
Located in St Martin's Courtyard at 6 Slingsby Place, the retail stop spans two floors, and features a range of products from several leading British and European independent designers such as Emin and Paul, Rachel Entwistle, Blake Mill and Eudia.
The dedicated space will also provide a programme of fashion masterclasses and workshops, offering exclusive and intimate sessions that introduce shoppers to the brand owners and allow them to interact with the product (via FashionUnited UK).
WhereWolf – a start-up founded by Dhruv Bonnerjee, Ryan D'Souza and Manavdeep Singh – is being touted as the first of its kind, driving footfall to stores. It provides customers with an alternative to e-commerce services such as click-and-collect, by allowing them to search for products (and price drops) in high street stores nearby and buy instantly on arrival. — AFP Relaxnews
