On the website PointerPointer.com, there is no chance you will lose track of your mouse pointer, as pointing fingers will show you where it is. — dpa

The humble mouse pointer: It lurks so unassumingly in the corner of our screens, always ready to assist. But a new website, PointerPointer.com, is here to give the mouse pointer its moment in the spotlight.

Visitors to the site can hover their mouse over any point on the page and it will come up with a photo with a person (or people) pointing at the pointer (hence the name, if you couldn't figure that out).

The results are surprising, entertaining and even a little unnerving. It's all too easy to while away the minutes – if not hours – with your mouse darting around the screen. — dpa
