Students can enjoy Apple Music for just RM6.90 a month

Apple Music subscribers will enjoy 50% discount if they verify they're students.

Students looking for music while they study are in luck, as they will get to enjoy Apple Music at 50% off or just RM6.90 a month.

According to Apple's support site, students at a degree-granting university or college were eligible for a discounted Apple Music membership for up to 48 months (four years).

In Malaysia, to qualify for an Apple Music student membership, the user must be a student studying a bachelor degree, post-graduate degree, or equivalent Higher Education course at a university.

Users would have to validate they were indeed with the university through UNiDAYS, a student validation service,

Periodically, UNiDAYS would re-validated users' student status, typically near the end of each year.

Apple warned that if UNiDAYS found the user was no longer a student or if they have had a student subscription for the full 48 months, their subscription would automatically be reverted to an Apple Music Individual subscription.

A full Apple Music subscription costs RM14.90 a month, while the family option costs RM22.90 a month for up to six people.

Play, subscribe and stand a chance to win prizes worth over RM39,000! T&C applies.
