UPDATE: If you have not received the additional data quota, do not worry as Maxis says it is rolling it out in stages and all of of its users should have it by Saturday.

The data upgrade also applies to all existing MaxisOne Plan users, regardless of device bundle plans or existing contracts.

If you are a MaxisOne Plan postpaid user, here’s some good news. The telco has added 10GB of data to each of its four plans.

This means that the basic MaxisOne Plan 98 will now be offering 30GB, which is split into 15GB for all-day use and 15GB for weekend only.

Users have the option to remove the split and combine the data into one single pool without weekend restriction by just adding RM10 per month.

Users will still be able to enjoy unlimited class and SMS to all local networks.
Users will still be able to enjoy unlimited calls and SMS to all local networks.

However, things get interesting with the higher tier plans, namely the MaxisOne Plan 128, 158 and 188.

For the three plans above, the data split no longer applies. This means that users will be able to enjoy 40GB, 50GB and 60GB of data at all times with the respective plans.

Similar to the previous offerings, all four plans come with unlimited calls and SMS.
