Given international reach after an immense Japanese debut, Persona 5 is already a contender for end-of-year awards; releasing the same week of April 4, 2017, is the bombastic Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition remaster, a youngster-friendly, branded riff on the popular open world genre in Lego City Undercover, luciously drawn dream-like journey Blackwood Crossing and super-weird point and click Paradigm.

From April 7
Before Polish studio People Can Fly created Gears of War: Judgement for the Xbox One, it was more boldly experimenting with the form and function of chunky first-person shooters in 2011's Bulletstorm, which gave players kneeslides, lassos and all manner of environmental dangers on which to dispose of their enemies, rewarding them for creative combinations while the main character swore his mouth off. PCF partners with Borderlands, Battleborn and Duke Nukem Forever studio Gearbox for the remaster.
