Waze and Spotify's duet means musical commuting

Best of both worlds: The new cross-app integration is designed to minimise distraction.

A new joint feature allows users to get turn-by-turn navigation within their Spotify app or, if they prefer access to their Spotify playlists while using Waze 

It means that voice instructions or alerts will temporarily mute out the playlist rather than the music and the navigation system both competing for the driver's aural spectrum at the same time.
