Huawei smartwatch gets US release date

Available soon: Fans of the Huawei Watch will be able to get their hands on it later this month.

Back in the spotlight at IFA after being presented at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei's Android Wear watch now has a US release set for September. 

The Chinese company's first product for the Android Wear smartwatch market, the Huawei Watch will come in various versions priced between US$349 (RM1,477) and US$799 (RM3,383) depending on the choice of metal (stainless steel, rose gold) and band (leather, stainless steel, link), according to Engadget.
