Putting the beat in Vine: A new program includes a catalogue of songs for users to choose from to create a seamless loop for their video.

Video looping app Vine has added a new music feature that allows users to add a soundtrack to their six-second clip.

Called Snap to Beat, the programme includes a catalogue of songs that users can choose from to create a seamless loop for their video.

The automated programme can trim the video to fit the clip, but can also be turned off so that users can edit the audio tracks separately.

In response to popular demand, users can now also see the name of the song and artist on Vine videos.

The feature is available for on iOS and Android. — AFP Relaxnews
