INCREDIBLE WEALTH: Apple is now by far the world

NEW YORK: A rise in Apple shares pushed the market value of the trend-setting US tech icon above US$700bil (RM2.34tril), becoming the first company to hit that milestone. 

Apple shares rose nearly 1% in morning trade to US$119.75 (RM400) at 1525 GMT, making its market capitalisation some US$701.7bil (RM2.34tril). The shares were fluctuating in a narrow range later.
