Surveillance cameras get smart

Panasonic Malaysia has launched two new families of IP-based surveillance cameras in conjunction with IFSEC 2014 (International Fire and Security Exhibition and Conference) held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The two new IP surveillance ­systems are the i-Pro and E-Series. The image sensor in the i-Pro range goes up to 3.1 megapixels and is capable of recording HD videos at up to 60fps in H.264 or MPEG4 ­formats and offers H.264 and MPEG4 ­compression as options.
