Go big with Epson’s new multimedia projectors

DIGITAL imaging solution provider Epson Malaysia has launched its EB-G6000 series of multimedia projectors for large venues.

The projectors have a brightness rating of 5,200 to 7,000 lumens and a 5,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio which make them ideal for large rooms. The devices can also monitor and automatically adjust the brightness and contrast on-the-fly for different settings.

All the models have edge blending capability that intelligently blends the colours of overlapping images from multiple projections to create an even bigger image.

They use 3LCD technology for producing clear and colourful images and also feature DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) mode that produces images with clear shadows which make them ideal for projecting X-rays and other medical images.

The two high-end models — the EB-G6800 and EB-G6900WU — have enhanced features that allow them to project on curved surfaces without distortion. This makes the projectors ideal for creating unique visual experiences, Epson said.

And as they both support HDBaseT interface, they can  accept long distance transmission of uncompressed high definition video, audio and data.

The new series of projectors consist of six models with prices ranging from RM16,500 to RM25,000. — CHONG JINN XIUNG
