In trouble: Russia's Roskomnadzor communications watchdog has said LinkedIn, which has more than 6 million registered users in Russia, was violating a law requiring websites which store the personal data of Russian citizens to do so on Russian servers.
BOSTON/NEW YORK: LinkedIn has had a data breach that compromised the passwords of some of the social network’s members.
LinkedIn engineer Vicente Silveira confirmed on the website’s blog that some passwords were “compromised.”
