PETALING JAYA: There are two new shooters in Olympus’ line up. They are the PEN E-PL2, an update to the company’s popular Micro 4/3 series of interchangeable-lens cameras, and the XZ-1, a high-end compact with the widest-aperture zoom-lens in its class.
The E-PL2 features a 12.3-megapixel Live MOS image sensor with ISO settings up to 6,400 for better low-light shots without flash. It also has an updated design over its predecessor, with more rounded edges and black leatherette accents, as well as looks closer to its E-P1 and E-P2 cousins than the E-PL1.
