LG ELECTRONICS has come out with probably the largest 3D TV yet. It’s a whopping 72in screen. Illuminated by a full panel of LEDs (light emitting diodes) directly behind the screen, the LZ9700 promises viewers humongous onscreen action in 3D.
You have to wear 3D glasses to watch and the LZ9700 has TruMotion 400Hz technology to deliver a super-fast processing rate to serve up exceptionally smooth 3D imagery.
This state-of-the-art TV is also fitted with LG’s Smart TV functions, which viewers can use for a a variety of games, onscreen applications, etc.
Owners needn’t need worry about being overwhelmed by the number of functions the TV has. LG said its intuitive and easy-to-use Magic Motion Remote Control makes accessing and using the functions very simple.
When viewers want to watch a 2D TV programme or movie, they can switch the TV to 2D mode via the remote control unit.
The LZ9700 will start shipping in the first quarter of this year. But LG couldn’t yet confirm if its gargantuan TV will be available in this country.
