Maxis launches location-based SMS directory


KUALA LUMPUR: Are you tired of looking for a seafood restaurant in town? If you are a Maxis customer, you can now just type “seafood,” and send an SMS to 301. You will then receive a list of seafood restaurants in your area instantly.

The service, called Finder301, is a location-based SMS directory that allows Maxis subscribers to locate and share information on their favourite places such as food outlets, restaurants, banks, police stations, hospitals, clinics and Maxis stores nationwide.
