ECO World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) is teaming up with social media platform Xiaohongshu (XHS) to launch Cuti-Cuti Kuala Lumpur Red Dot.

The month-long cultural and lifestyle celebration will take place at Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) from Sept 27 to Oct 31 from 10am-10pm.

This event brings Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant spirit to life, blending Malaysian heritage experiences, artisanal showcases, and digital engagement with exclusive shopping rewards.

EcoWorld president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said, “At EcoWorld,

we believe in co-creating developments that go beyond physical spaces to inspire how people live, connect and experience the city.

“Partnering with Xiaohongshu allows us to celebrate culture, lifestyle and digital engagement in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, attracting both local and international visitors.

“BBCC has always been envisioned as a dynamic urban destination, and this event reflects our drive to bring that vision to life,” he added.

Event highlights

The event kicks off with Festival Week, which runs from Sept 27 to Oct 5 at BBCC’s lifestyle dining hub Tuah 1895.

Step back in time with traditional Malaysian games like congkak, Batu Seremban, and hopscotch, and browse through pop-up booths showcasing beautiful artisanal crafts by local artists.

Throughout the week, visitors can join batik painting workshops, while the finale on 5 October will feature a lantern-making session and a mesmerising live Gu Zheng performance.
