Bursa Malaysia has recently launched the Bursa Fund Platform, an interactive fund information platform that provides investors with comprehensive information on unit trusts and wholesale funds.
The Bursa Fund Platform’s user-friendly features enable investors easy access to information to research and create watchlists to monitor funds that they are interested in.
Investors will also be able to compare funds and connect with the participating fund managers when they are ready to invest or simply for more personalised services.
Among the participating fund managers are Kenanga Investors Berhad, Opus Asset Management Sdn Bhd, RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd, RHB Islamic Asset Management Berhad, UOB Asset Management (Malaysia) Berhad, AmFunds Management Berhad and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd.
The funds available on the platform include shariah and conventional funds with equity, fixed income and ESG mandates.
As with any investment, there are risks involved. Each fund has its own risk level, which is determined by the assets in which the fund invests. For example, an equity fund is considered riskier than a money market fund.
