NEW YORK (Reuters) - World number one Novak Djokovic began his campaign to complete a calendar-year Grand Slam by beating Danish teenager Holger Rune 6-1 6-7(5) 6-2 6-1 in the first round of the U.S. Open on Tuesday.

"It was a crazy experience, playing against Novak on Arthur Ashe is probably one of the dream come true," said Rune.
