Malaysia finish seventh in men's 4x100m freestyle relay


Khiew Hoe Yean, Ananda Lim Yin Chuen, Arvin Shaun Singh and Jayden Tan back in 2023 when they won bronze in the 4x100m freestyle at the Cambodia SEA Games.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia finished seventh in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay swimming final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The national quartet of Khiew Hoe Yean, Arvin Shaun Singh Chahal, Ananda Lim Yin Chuen and Jayden Tan clocked 3:24.32s in the final at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.

Australia powered to gold with a Games record time of 3:09.49s while England claimed silver in 3:11.69s and South Africa took bronze with a time of 3:13.99s.

The national quartet had qualified for the final after finishing sixth overall in the heats with a time of 3:23.90s earlier.
