KUALA LUMPUR: Swimmer Khiew Hoe Yean (pic) has managed to break at least one national record every year for the last five years and it will certainly be great if he gets cracking in the Malaysian Open in Bukit Jalil this week.
It was in 2021 when he first made a big splash by smashing the men’s 200m backstroke national record held by Alex Lim Keng Liat since 2002.
