Sanjay one step away from first PSA title


PETALING JAYA: National squash player Sanjay Jeeva has put himself in a strong position to land his first Professional Squash Association (PSA) title of the year at the Open International Niort in France.

The third seed produced a superb performance to stun top seed Patrick Rooney of England 6-11, 13-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8 in a gruelling 74-minute semi-final of the US$15,000 event at Squash du Marais in Bessines.
