PETALING JAYA: Top Malaysian men’s squash player Ng Eain Yow has captured the German Open title after taking down Switzerland’s Dimitri Steinmann on Sunday (April 7).

The world No. 22 had shown resilience throughout the tournament and claimed the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Bronze level event title, winning 12-10, 11-8, 10-12, 11-3, in 66 minutes.

This was only the second time Eain Yow met with the world No. 34 Swiss player, as their only previous encounter was at the World Championships in 2017.

The win in Hamburg makes it the seventh PSA Tour title after Eain Yow last lifted the Irish Open trophy in April last year.
