PETALING JAYA: It was a personal redemption for squash player Amanda Sobhy (pic) of the United States as she stormed into the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open.

World No. 5 Sobhy lived up to her reputation as the third seed by easily defeating Egypt’s rising star Amina Orfi 11-5, 11-8, 11-1 in the third round yesterday.
